Important activities begin at the start of the school year with registration of players at times dictated by the league, Football South Coast. Players must then be sorted into teams according to age, and depending on numbers registering in an age group, evaluating (grading) them and assigning them to teams. Coaches and managers must be found and provided for each team. At the youngest age groups, Under 6's and Under 7's, training and weekly team play is being held strictly within the club.
During the playing season the home ground must be set up for the weekly Saturday and Sunday matches. Also, the canteen and barbecue must be operated by parents of teams as assigned from week to week. This is an essential activity of the club as it provides virtually the entire operating budget for essential club expenses. The registration fee goes almost entirely to the league for its operating expenses including insurance for players and for league administration
Additional club activities include maintaining a website, coordinating training & competitions, & keeping members up to date.
